AKA Training

This one-day course is designed to enhance the safe-handling, manipulation and combat skills of the participant using an AK-47/74 or one of its variants. The course includes training on the necessary manipulations and concepts required to accurately and effectively engage threat targets in a dynamic environment. The AK is not an AR-15 and should not be handled as such. Use of this weapon system requires an understanding of the differences of the system and the resulting effect on combat performance under stress.

Cost - $95.00 (15% discount for active/retired Law Enforcement or Military and their family members).

Required Equipment: AK with sling, spare magazine(s) and pouch, long pants and athletic/service footwear, ear protection (muff type, no “foamies”), eye protection (ballistic wrap around type preferred) and/or prescription glasses, knee pads, elbow pads, 300 rounds of ammunition.
