Utah Concealed Firearms Permit Course (CFP)

A 12-hour course that exceeds the state requirements for obtaining a Utah Concealed Firearms Permit. The course entails four hours of classroom and eight hours of practical exercises and range time. The participant completing the program will receive not only the legal knowledge required under the law, but will also develop a clear understanding of the concealed carry environment and will gain an understanding of the survival mindset necessary for surviving a life-threatening confrontation involving themselves, their family or other innocent persons. Upon completion of the course, the participant will have gained a level of comfort and confidence in their ability to carry their firearm concealed, to exercise safe handling procedures at all times and to use their firearm in an armed confrontation.

Cost - $145.00 (15% discount for active/retired Law Enforcement or Military and their family members).

Required Equipment: preferred firearm, appropriate holster and belt, spare magazine(s) or speed/strip loader and appropriate pouches, long pants and athletic/service footwear, ear protection (muff type, no “foamies”), eye protection (ballistic wrap around type preferred) and/or prescription glasses, 250 rounds of ammunition.
